Handyman.

During the winter months I’m blessed with a little extra time on my hands. As anyone who works as a gardener knows it’s a great time to recharge but also crack on with some of your own personal projects too. I have always been a keen DIYer and have a list of jobs that I’m keen to tackle for myself. This year I’m planning on building a modest greenhouse, relocate and refurbish my workshop, decorate the kitchen as well as refresh the bathroom.

Now that I’m self-employed it makes sense to use some of my DIY skills to help others with a Handyman service too. Whether that be my existing customer base or meeting some new customers too. These are the types of projects I’m here to help with:

  • I am diligent in preparing surfaces to be painted ensuring they are cleaned down and prepared (filling and sanding as necessary) through to putting the paint on the walls or woodwork - as many coats are as needed for your project.

  • Albeit accomplished in Lego, Playmobil and Meccano (that show s my age) I’m also happy to help out on flatpack furniture assembly.

  • Anything you need some help with ‘putting up’ I can help you with. I carry all the correct fixings with me to complete the job quickly and professionally.

  • If you need help transporting something as long as I can get it in my vehicle I’m here to help. I always carry plenty of bungees and ratchet straps to make sure everything is secure and won’t be damaged in transit.

  • Sometimes you just need a ‘big-lump’ to move some stuff for you.

  • If you need help with something not listed above please reach out. If it’s something I can help with I will or if it requires a specialist I’ll offer you that advice too.
